I lived 1 1...Hello to my cousin Mark, from Darrol. I lived 1 1/2 blocks north of the Avalon from 1942-1956. As an 8 year old, I stood and watched the old Avalon be torn down. I had attended many movies there, including Friday night LUCKY nights (like Bingo), and Saturday cowboy matinees. Almost every movie experience was a double feature. I continued to attend the new Avalon until HS graduation in '56. I saw your dad, Mark, last summer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
